My Actual Date Makeup and Outfit

The other day, I posted a practice first date makeup look. Today, I’m going to share what I actually slapped on my face and what I wore for the date.

For base, I chose something that I can trust to last a fairly long time, whilst also giving me a healthy glow; the Bare Minerals Bareskin Serum Foundation. This does look beautiful and quite natural. I didn’t want anything to heavy since I was climbing through the trees on this date.

I kept my face quite neutral with a touch of the Liz Earle Radiant Glow Bronzer mixed with the Models Own Sculpt and Glow Matte Bronzer, followed by the Bare Minerals Blush in Vintage Peach. Together these gave a really pretty, subtle natural glow to the skin. I only used a tiny amount of highlighter, and my most natural one in my collection is the Urban Decay After Hour Highlighter in the shade Firebird.

On my eyes, I used a new discovery from Tanya Burr; did anyone else know that she was bringing out new eyeshadow palettes? I didn’t, but they’re beautiful. I used the ‘My Paradise’ palette, which is full of warm toned coppery shades. It’s so pretty. I pretty much mixed all three shades together and placed a wash of colour across my lid.

For lipstick, I wanted something long-wearing and transfer-proof. That only means one thing; liquid lipstick. I went for the shade San Paolo from the Nyx Soft Matte Lip Cream Collection. This is a bold colour, but still neutral.

As for my outfit, my top is from the Izabelle collection from Outfit and my jeans are from Dorothy Perkins. I’ve had the top a while so I’m not sure if it will still be in stores. And since I was climbing trees, I wore my Adidas trainers. I can trust these to stay on my feet.

Where did you go for your most unusual first date?

Aaaand it was awesome guys. The obstacle course was so fun although I was terrified and got stuck a few times. I did manage to take one photo of myself before going on the higher obstacles. So here I am in a sexy AF helmet.
