Weekly Favourites: August #2

Hi guys! Sunday is here once again, and I have a fresh batch of favourites for you all.

Smashbox Spotlight Palette: Pearl

These are the perfect highlighter shades for pale skin tones. The three shades range from a natural looking semi-matte to a blinding glittery one. They are a dream to work with and don’t look chunky on the skin. They actually look like you are dripping in candlelight when you wear them. They are such beautifully crafted shades.

L’Oreal Lash Paradise Mascara

You will be sick of me mentioning this mascara this month. It is going to come up a lot over the upcoming weeks. This is a fab dupe of the Better than Sex mascara and only costs £9.99. I love the effect this mascara gives my lashes. It lengthens them and makes them look like false lashes. It is a brilliant mascara; one that I will be repurchasing in the future.

Juvia’s Place: The Sahara Palette

I have a review of this coming up, but it is a gorgeous palette which I have adored playing around with over the past few weeks. The blendability is something else and I have never known a pigmented eyeshadow to not give any fallout. It is unheard of. I am completely in awe of this formula and the colours. They are amazing.

Ofra Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick: Havana Nights

This is a beautiful vampy red. I have really been into my darker lip shades lately, and this has been one of my current favourites. The formula isn’t too drying and it lasts a really long time on the lips. Unfortunately it didn’t pass the kiss test, but not every lipstick was designed for dates. I will continue wearing this regardless of this minor thing though. I love the colour too much.

Marc Jacobs Light Filtering Contour Powder

I use the contour side more than the banana powder, but the contour shade is gorgeous. It blends out beautifully, creating the perfect illusion of shade on the face. I love it. It has actually turned a contouring dunce into a semi-skilled professional.

What are your current favourites?

Have a lovely day, and take care.
