Weekly Favourites August #4

Summer is quickly reaching it’s end, and Autumn is nearly here. Today I wanted to share another week of beauty favourites.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Subculture

Can I be really controversial for a moment and say that I actually prefer this to Modern Renaissance? This palette has more colours that I use on a regular basis and they apply beautifully. Not every shade is perfect, but the others make up for the fact that there are one or two duds. Overall, it is gorgeous, and the perfect palette ready for Autumn.

L’Oreal Brow Pomade

This gives the most beautiful, natural brows that I have ever known. The product is gorgeous; an absolute joy to work with! This is all that I have been using in my brows for the entire month. I am in love with this. It does help that the packaging is to die for too!

Clinique Moisture Surge Concentrate

My skin has really been misbehaving as of late. My dry skin has come back with a vengence so I needed something to give my face back it’s moisture. This is really quite wonderful. The product sinks straight into the skin and leaves my face feeling refreshed and ready for makeup. It does leave your skin feeling quite tacky, so I’ve actually stopped wearing primers for a while. This is such a good moisturiser.

Maybelline Superstay Matte Ink

I will admit that the colour range is a tad hit and miss. The colour that I have been using quite a bit is the shade Pioneer, which is a beautiful cherry red. It looks gorgeous on pale skin like mine. The formula does take a little while to dry, but once it does it is budge proof. It is really trickyto remove on a night, but I love wearing this all day. What I also really love is that it feels very comfortable on the lips.

Clinique Superbalanced Foundation

It’s back. I wanted to do a nostalgic makeup post and purchased my old favourite on a whim. However I have really enjoyed wearing it again. It feels really good on my face; just like skin, and works very well with the moisturiser. This also lasts such a long time on the skin. I am definitely going back to using this again. I love it!

What have been your favourite beauty items this week?
