Bronze Autumnal Halo Eye Tutorial

Hi guys how are you all today?

We are now into September; how scary is that. This year is flying by so fast.

The 22nd September will bring the beginning of Autumn officially in the UK, but I’m already starting to channel my inner Autumn girl in my makeup. Today I wanted to share a tutorial for the above look. I have used the very controversial Anastasia Beverly Hills Subculture Palette for the eyes, and I really love how the eyes came out.

For foundation I buffed a few light layers of the Dior Forever foundation into my skin, leaving the eye area. My undereye area has been really dry lately and I didn’t want to overload it with loads of products. For that area I used the Bare Minerals Stroke of Light Concealer, blending it out with a sponge.

I set my face using the Makeup Forever Ultra HD powder. To bronze up my face slightly I used the Bare Minerals Original Warmth. For blush I took Avon’s Make Your Mark Cheek Colour and Highlighter in Doll Face, using the blush as a base, and topping the cheekbones with the highlighter side. On the apples of my cheeks I swirled a bit of the Clinique Cheek Pop in Peach Pop.

For my brows, I used the L’Oreal Brow Pomade with a flat angled brush. This applies really easilyand looks very natural. It has quickly become my favourite brow product.

For my eyes, I took the shade Dawn fromSubculture to set my eyelid. Then in the crease I slowly built up the shades New Wave and Fudge, followed by All Star. I then packed All Star all over my lid, blending into the crease. I also matched my lower lashline to the shades in my crease.

For the halo effect I spritzed my brush with Smashbox’s Primer Water and applied a small amount of Adorn to the centre of my lids.

On my brow bone and inner eye, I then applied a tiny amount of the shade Cube.

I finished off the eyes with a few coats of the L’Oreal Paradise Mascara.

I wanted a dark berry shade for the lids, so I went for Kat Von D’s Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Bauhaus. This is such a beautiful colour, and the formula is really long wearing.

What is your favourite Autumnal colour?

Have a lovely day guys.
