Hi everyone, how are you all today?
This week, I’ve been rediscovering a fair few old favourites and have really loved these beauty items this week.
Garnier Micellar Oil Infused Cleansing Water
When it comes to cleansing my skin at the end of the day, I prefer oil based products. I find that they help moisturise my skin and do a great job at removing stubborn mascara. The original micellar waters tend to make my eyes sting but I actually find the oil one is better for me. It’s a lot gentler than the original and removes every trace of makeup on my skin.
Bare Minerals Statement Liquid Lip in OMG
I’ve worn this shade a fair bit this week. It is such a gorgeous bright berry shade; ideal for the transition from Summer to Autumn. It’s surprisingly long-lasting and quite nourishing on the lips. I’m so glad that Bare Minerals have added some statement shades to their new line ups; not everyone always wants neutrals.
Avon Colortrend Eyeliner in Energy Pink
I really struggle with putting anything in my waterline. Luckily I received this in one of the Avon bargain bags a few months ago and this is such a brilliant brightening kohl liner. One swipe is enough to make me look more awake. The pink shade is a great neutraliser to remove any redness from the whites of my eyes. It has been a wonder product.
Bare Minerals Dirty Detox
Me and Mark have been using this a fair bit lately. This leaves my skin feeling refreshed and less claggy after using full coverage foundations. It is a pain to clean off but it feels lovely whilst on the skin and the extra effort to clean it away is worth it for the results. Mark gets really bad blocked pores from his job as a welder so this actually does wonders for his skin to.
Too Faced Love Flush Blush in Love Hangover
This is still going strong even though I hit pan months ago! I love this colour so much. On dull skin days, this brightens everything up and really cheers me up. It is such a beautiful shade. I may actually repurchase this once it runs out.
Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Champagne Pop
And another old favourite. As the Autumn months roll in I have worn darker highlighters and loved them. Champagne Pop looks stunning on top of my cheek bones at the moment. I have sold a fair few of my other highlighters on Ebay, so I have been reaching for this more and more. It’s such an easy way to make your makeup look more put together.
What have been your most reached for beauty products this week?
Have a lovely day guys!
