This week, I have actually used a fair few old favourites. As moving day draws near, I have had to limit my new purchases to a bare minimum, so I have been reaching for older products in my collection. These are the five products that impressed me this week.
Nars Duo in Isolde
For a very simple day, this is a gorgeous duo to reach for, for a simple wash of colour across the eyelid. This is a gorgeous bronze shade that lasts such a long time on the face. It’s so pigmented and blends out beautifully.
Bourjois Rouge Velvet Lipstick in Brique-a-Brac
I love this really deep rosy pink shade. It’s a gorgeous neutral for days where you want a bold lip, but don’t really fancy reaching for red or berry tones. I’ve been wearing this for work quite a lot. The colour is very flattering and lasts such a long time without smudging.
Bare Minerals Original Blush in Golden Gate
Golden Gate is a very old favourite! This shade is the perfect subtle rosy colour for the cheeks. It adds enough colour to make it look like a healthy flush, but also highlights the cheek bones. A little really does go a long way when I use this too.
Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper
As this has aged, I find it a lot easier to use. This creates a very simple flick without too much effort. I have really enjoyed experimenting with winged liner this week, and this is the liner that I have used every time. It’s brilliant, and doesn’t wash away when my eyes get watery.
Bourjois Rouge Velvet in Rubi’s Cute
And another Bourjois lipstick makes it onto this list this week. This one is a beautiful tomato red. I can’t really add much more to this favourite from what has already been stated. However, I will say that this formula is completely kiss-proof. It’s been nice wearing something other than liquid lipsticks for dates.
What have been your most reached for products this week?
I hope that you all have a lovely day.
