Everyday Autumnal Makeup Tutorial

Hi everyone, how are you all doing today?

As the cooler months are drawing closer I have been playing more with my Autumnal colours. Today I wanted to share a makeup look that I have been wearing pretty much every day throughout September. They may not necessarily be the same shades that I have worn all month, but I have worn a coppery eye with a bold dark lip pretty much every day. I really love this sort of look in the Autumn, and I rarely wear anything other look at this time.

For primer, I blended out some of the Body Shop Instablur. I can trust this to protect my face from any dryness in the foundation and it does help my foundation last a lot longer. Once my primer had set, I applied the Bare Minerals Bare Pro Performance Liquid with the Luxe Performance Brush. With this brush, the foundation doesn’t apply streaky and looks really airbrushed.

Under my eyes I blended out the Bourjois Healthy Mix Concealer with a blending sponge, and set it with the Makeup Forever Ultra HD Powder. The foundation doesn’t really need setting but I did dust some excess powder over the rest of my face too.

To bronze up my face I took the Bourjois Delice de Poudre bronzer, buffing this out into a c-shape across my face and temples. This is a very warm bronzer, so do not use this to contour! On the apples of my cheeks I blended out a generous amount of Nars’ Orgasm blush, which I have recently started using again. It really is a gorgeous, flattering shade.

To finish off the cheek bones I mixed two highlighters. As a base I used the Stila Heaven’s Hue Highlighter in Transcendence. Over the top I dusted a light coating of No7’s Shimmer Palette in Rose to intensify the shimmer slightly.

I filled in my brows with the L’Oreal Brow Pommade and Lancome Sourcil Styler, which is something that I have been doing quite a lot lately. These products work really well together.

As for eyeshadow, I used a combination of three palettes. In the crease, I first took the ABH Subculture Palette and blended the shade Roxy out in my crease and up towards my brow bone slightly. I darkened the outer edge with the shade Fudge. On lower lash line I mixed New Wave and Roxy, diffusing the lower lash line slightly with a fluffy brush.

On my lid, I first applied a matte base using He Devil from the Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette. I also smudged this on the outer corner of the lower lash line, along with the shade En Fuego.

To add some shimmer I took Juvia’s Place’s The Saharan Palette, and with a dampened shadow brush packed the shade Bororo onto the lid, blending out the edges slightly. I didn’t want any harsh edges with this look.

To intensify the inner corner I used a tiny amount of Electric from the Subculture palette.

I wanted a tiny pop of blue on my upper lash line, so I took the Lancome Grandiose Liquid Liner in Saphire and drew a thin line on both eyes.

To finish off my eyes I applied a few generous layers of the L’Oreal Lash Paradise Mascara to my upper lashes. On the lower lashes I used my old faithful PUR Triple Threat Mascara.

To create the glossy bold lip, I first applied a dark berry lipstick from Smashbox’s Be Lengendary collection. I used the shade Jam Sesh, which is absolutely gorgeous. Over the top I took Charlotte Tilbury’s Lip Glass in Unleash Me. Together these shades compliment each other really well.

So that is my go-to everyday makeup look at the moment.

Have a lovely day guys, and take care.
