Eyeshadow is such a personal thing, and we all prefer wearing different shades at different times of the year. My personal preferences are warm neutrals and khaki greens.
Today I have picked some of my favourite palettes for the Autumn months that follow my personal preferences, but also meet the trends for this year.
Zoeva Rodeo Belle and Mixed Metals
Both of these palettes are absolutely beautiful. I picked both of these for their earthy tones and those gorgeous burnt orange shades, which are my favourite shades for cooler months. However, one trend is to wear a pop of colour or sparkle on the eyes. Mixed Metals has quite the selection of silver and blue tones. Rodeo Belle also includes it’s fair selection of bright tones. These are very affordable Autumnal palettes, worth every penny.
Jefree Star Andogryny
Like the Mixed Metals Palette, this also has it’s fair selection of earthy tones and pops of colour, however I do find that this palette has a more brown undertone to every shade which makes it ideal for Autumn. I find this very wearable and it has a nice selection of unusual transition shades if you did want to wear more colour on the eyes for a change.
I genuinely love this palette. On days where I haven’t been wearing the warm smoky eye, I have been using the khaki greens from this palette. The shades in here are so unusual but it has that dark romantic undertones, making it perfect for Autumn. I especially love the shade Electric, which is a beautiful duo-chrome green. This looks gorgeous on top of the darker matte greens.
Bare Minerals Bare Naturals
This is more for the cooler tone lovers. There is a lovely selection of pretty golds and sparkly blue shades. This one is a gorgeous everyday palette although it does has those pops of shimmer for a few gorgeous evening looks.
Urban Decay Naked Heat
I reviewed this properly last month, but this is the perfect palette for those gorgeous rusty brown smoky eyes that are bang on trend at the moment. Naked Heat is perfect for anyone who loves wearing orange and rusty red shades.
Too Faced Natural Love
This palette has so many beautiful shades! You have quite a few pops of colour to play around with, but you also have a fair few browns and coppers to darken them up for some gorgeous colourful smoky eye looks.
Juvia’s Place The Saharan Palette
Oh so many warm neutrals! This is gorgeous for creating a beautiful warm smoky eye. I have actually been wearing this a lot with the Naked Heat and Subculture to add a touch more sparkle to those eyeshadow looks.
What palettes do you reach for in the Autumn?
Have a lovely day guys.
