Palettes That Need a Bit More Love

Being a beauty blogger, I do have a fair amount of makeup. Okay… it’s more the fact that I’m a beauty addict! Today, I wanted to share some of my old favourite eyeshadow palettes, that I really should use a bit more. These still have a lot of life left in them, so there isn’t really any reason why I shouldn’t show them a bit more love.

Smashbox Double Exposure

I used this so much when I first started blogging! The shades are a neutral lovers dream, however it still has enough colour on here to keep thing interesting. The quality of Smashbox’s eyeshadows is beautiful, but this is by far my favourite palette that they released. I might start using this a bit more for work. The shades are really subtle, but still look stunning.

Dior Skyline Palette

This tiny palette is beautiful, and I’ve only used it a few times. This could create such a stunning neutral smoky eye. I’ll definitely have to reach for it more on date nights, because I think this teamed with a deep plum lipstick would be stunning.

Zoeva Rodeo Belle

The shades in here are gorgeous for Spring. There are some beautiful blues in here and a stunning burgundy shade. From what I recall, these shades blend out beautifully and last a really long time on the lids with or without primer. It’s definitely one to reach for if you like to experiment with colours.

Bare Minerals Ready Quad in The Truth

This is the most stunning little cool toned quad ever. I wore this for my birthday a few years ago, and it looks gorgeous for a subtle smoked out makeup look. I used to love wearing this back when I first discovered Bare Minerals, and I should really wear it a bit more, because the shades are so beautiful to work with.

Kat Von D’s Chrysalis Palette

I love this palette, but I stopped using it when I bought the Saints and Sinners palette. The colours in here are on trend for a lot of Spring Summer runway trends, so I will have to use this a lot more. Plus, Mark bought me this, so I really should use it a lot more. Like all Kat Von D shadows, this blend beautifully, and it has some gorgeous coloured shades to play with. They are a bit dusty, so do tap them off if you do use the more pigmented coloured shades; otherwise you will get blue and purple flecks all over your face.

What palettes do you need to show a bit more love to?

Have a lovely day guys, and take care.
