Hi everyone, how are you all today?
Today I want to share my favourite products from the past month. There are a few this month, so I’ll try to keep everything brief.
Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Highlighter: Champagne Pop
This is all old favourite that I’ve already hit pan on. I don’t hit pan on blushers and highlighters very often since it takes me so long to use them up. Jaclyn Hill did such an amazing job with the colour of this, and it’s one of my favourite blinding highlighters. It can be worn natural, but it’s so pretty worn quite heavily.
Benefit Bad Gal Bang Mascara
I’ve had this for a few months, and I’ll be honest and say that I didn’t really like it when I first bought it. It’s really wet and smudged quite badly. However as the air has gotten to the tube a bit more, it is a lot easier to use and looks beautiful. use this on both my upper and lower lashes. It gives a nice fluttery look to my lashes and does add a bit of length.
Bare Minerals Gen Nude Blush: Peachy Keen
I absolutely adore this shade. I took this to Rome with me and it lasted such a long time on my cheeks. The shade is such a pretty pinky-peach shade that looks so flattering on my skin. I will definitely be using this quite a lot in June; I’ve worn it pretty much every day in May, and that love affair will continue unless I find something else that month.
Revolution Pro HD Amplified 35 Palette: Defiant
I have two of these palettes now. Some of the neutral palettes looked a bit boring, but this one is stunning. You have such a wide mix of brights, neutrals, shimmers and mattes; it’s so versatile. I have used pretty much every shade in this palette apart from the pink, and I’m dying to use it. I will find a heading in which this one is possible. The colours blend beautifully and last such a long time on the lids. It’s such a lovely palette.
Nars Sculpting Multiple Duo
I picked this up in TK Maxx with the intention of selling it on Ebay. However I ended up keeping it. The highlighter side unfortunately is quite dry, but the contour side is so creamy. It blends out beautifully to create a gorgeous subtle contour. It’s just such a shame that the highlighter doesn’t work because Copacabana was one of my favourite cream highlighters back in the day.
Bare Minerals Bare Pro Liquid Foundation: Natural
This foundation has been a favourite countless times. I could finally afford this foundation again in May, and I love it just as much as I did the first time that I used it. The coverage and longevity is amazing. I can’t say much else about this, I’ve probably already said it many times before.
Lancome Grandiose Liner: Saphire
I love this colour so much! I’ve actually been wearing this on it’s own with a few matte shades in my crease. This blue liner is gorgeous and will cleng to the eyes until it’s wiped away with as cleanser.
Makeup Forever Aqua Lip: 8C
I’ve worn red lipstick quite a lot this month, and this has been my liner of choice to go underneath. This doesn’t feather on me and acts as a great base for most red lipsticks. I love the formula of these, it’s really creamy but not too creamy to smudge around the face.
Burt’s Bees Deep Cleansing Cream
I’ve tried to be a bit more strenuous with my skincare this month. In a morning, I first use my usual Camomile Oil Cleanser to get rid of any excess makeup left on my face. I then massage this cleansing cream to give my face a bit extra cleaning. This smells amazing and is such a treat in the morning.
I only signed up to sell this brand on the 25th, however the support I received from some of the sellers in my area has been second to none. Their attitude and passion for the brand is what made me sign up to be a seller, and I’m really looking forward to wearing the products and selling them. If anyone would like to buy any makeup from me, my selling page can be found here. I really hope to introduce some Younique items into my favourites next month.
These are all of my favourites from May. What products do you enjoy using this month?
Have a lovely day, and take care.
