Hi everyone, how are you all today?
Some of my makeup was running out, so it was time to go spend again. I have made a few cheeky purchases at Superdrug lately, as well as purchased some replacement items. Today, I thought that I would share them with you.
Some of these may be classed as high end, however they are sold at Superdrug.
L’Oreal True Match
I finally stopped using the Maybelline 24H Superstay. I was coming across more and more issues as I used it, so it was time to change. I have used L’Oreal True Match in the past and have enjoyed it. I don’t get a lot of blemishes or redness these days, so I don’t really feel like I need that full coverage-ness that a lot of newer foundations seem to be promoting. True Match does cover, but it’s definately more of a medium coverage. I’ve only used this a few times so far, and I am enjoying it.
Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer
I used this years ago, and I am on the hunt for a new concealer for under my eyes. I saw that there were new shades available in this formula, and I thought that I’d give the cool medium shade a go.
ELF Blush and Bronzing Powder: Fiji
I really fancied a new blush and bronzer, and I’ve heard good things about ELF’s blush formulas. The shade Fiji is definitely the sort of colours that suit my skin tone, and I can’t wait to try this out on my face.
Bourjois Radiance Reveal Concealer
I currently use this, but the shade that I own is too dark. So I bought that lightest shade, and I hope that this is a better match. I love this concealer; it has a beautiful finish that does last a fair while. Hopefully this new shade isn’t too light.
Wunderbrow Brow Gel with Brow Brush
I will do a review on this eventually. We have all seen the videos on Facebook where the models have different brows; some skimpy like mine, and more fuller brows. I wanted to give this a try because I do have really light brows, and I do think that brows make such a difference when it comes to doing your makeup. I’ve only used this twice so far, both with different reactions, so when I get used to this a bit more, I will review it.
Real Techniques Sponges
I am gutted that my B. Beauty sponge has been reformulated. So I’ve went back to using Real Techniques. I bought the multi-pack with the different shapes. I am hoping that these will work for me. I’ve only used the Real Techniques sponge once before, and I didn’t really give it a fair shot. I am hoping that this will work better because I love using a sponge for applying my concealer.
ELF Tone Adjusting Primer
I have used this before and loved it. I don’t really have much issues with tone in my skin, but I just love how this makes my makeup look. It helps it last longer, and really does look more flawless on the skin. This is by far one of my favourite primers from the drugstore, and I can’t wait to use it again.
Wunder-2 Face Powder
I bought this to replace my Avon powder, which finally ran out. This is £19.95, which shocked me. However the advert was convincing. This is supposed to stop shininess on the skin and help blur out imperfections. I haven’t used this enough to notice a difference yet, but at that price, I hope it does!
ELF Lip Exfoliator
This is a repurchase. I love using this to get rid of the dry skin on my lips. This does taste like mint, and I love it. If you don’t like sticking your fingers in the little lip scrub pots, I would recommend this; it’s a bit more hygienic.
Color Pop x Kathleen Lights Dream Street Palette
This hasn’t arrived yet, but I thought that I would include it anyway. I ordered this on Depop on Friday during the big storm, which has delayed any deliveries to my area. I have wanted to try this for a while and I can’t wait for this to arrive. I’ve never tried any Colour Pop shadows before, so I’m actually really excited to try something new.
So that is everything that I have bought this month. This will be everything, because I now have to buy food and stuff. I will do reviews on the things that I have said that I will, so look out for those.
I hope you all have a lovely day, and I will see you on Wednesday.
Bye for now!
